Same Product. Different Perspective.
Two perspectives on one product. Exploring how composition, lighting, and visual storytelling can elevate a simple accessory into a compelling brand experience.

A product is more than the object itself. How it's presented shapes how it's perceived. This SHMN beanie study explores the impact of creative direction on streetwear product presentation, transforming a simple accessory into an expressive fashion visual. The design combines experimental typography, bold tribal-inspired graphics, and contrasting graphic pins against a minimal black knit silhouette. Through dramatic purple lighting, close-up product compositions, and atmospheric fashion portraiture, the same beanie is presented in two distinct visual contexts—one emphasizing the product details, the other establishing mood and identity. The project demonstrates Shaman Dept's approach to product visualization, where thoughtful art direction elevates a garment beyond conventional mockups and creates a stronger visual connection between product and brand.
