Anatomy as Visual Identity
SKELETAL is an experimental apparel graphic concept developed by Shaman Dept, exploring the intersection of anatomical illustration, dark streetwear aesthetics, and contemporary sportswear silhouettes. The design centers on an oversized skeletal composition, transforming ribcage structures into a striking graphic statement. Sharp ornamental lines and symmetrical detailing extend the visual language beyond traditional anatomical illustration. Rendered in high-contrast black and white, the artwork interacts with the textured mesh fabric, creating a balance between expressive graphics and functional sportswear-inspired construction. Presented through a sunlit, low-angle fashion editorial, the project emphasizes the relationship between graphic placement, garment proportions, and visual identity.
