MARIPOSA is a surreal streetwear graphic project developed by Shaman Dept, exploring the intersection of cosmic imagination, mysterious symbolism, and contemporary apparel design. The artwork constructs an otherworldly environment through celestial landscapes, distorted perspectives, symbolic eyes, and vibrant purple atmospheres. Each element contributes to a visual narrative that feels both unfamiliar and strangely recognizable. Inspired by psychedelic art and surrealist compositions, the design combines intricate illustration with experimental textures and dramatic contrast to create an immersive graphic experience. Extended into oversized T-shirt applications and atmospheric fashion editorials, MARIPOSA demonstrates how a standalone illustration can evolve into a distinctive streetwear statement.
