ANGEL BLEED is an experimental typography and visual world-building project developed by Shaman Dept, exploring how a single custom wordmark can exist across two contrasting visual environments. The identity is built around sharp, sculptural letterforms with elongated extensions, intricate curves, and highly reflective chrome surfaces. Each character is treated as a dimensional object, transforming typography into an architectural element within its environment. Realm 01 — Crimson Terrain A dark, atmospheric landscape defined by reflective rock formations, luminous red crystals, and intense metallic reflections. The chrome lettering interacts with its surroundings, creating a dramatic visual language shaped by contrast, tension, and light. Realm 02 — Celestial Garden A contrasting environment where the same identity takes on a softer, organic expression. Translucent metallic forms intertwine with climbing vines, delicate flowers, and lush vegetation, blending experimental typography with nature-inspired surrealism. Across both realms, the underlying letterform remains consistent while its material expression, atmosphere, and visual context evolve. ANGEL BLEED demonstrates Shaman Dept's approach to custom lettering and art direction—extending a typographic identity beyond a standalone logo into an immersive visual world.
